Oyster kits are about 7-10 days, Lion's Mane kits are about 12-15 days. Based on your specific home environment.

Most kits produce 2 flushes of mushrooms over 4-6 weeks with proper care. in some case you may get more. Each flush after the first round will be about half the size. Some of our customers get 3 and 4 out of the kits.

Fold the flap part of the bag with the white filter patch tucked on the inside so that it is not showing. keep it tight and slide back into the box with the opposing side facing toward the front of the box. Make sure the side facing out is a single layer of plastic. follow the instructions on the back of the box or watch our video online.

Recycle the cardboard box and plastic bag. dump the spent substrate grow block into your compost, garden beds or flower beds. Break it up and feed you soil.

The best spot to grow your kit is in the kitchen area or dining room. No bathrooms, bedrooms or closets. They live just like you do and if your home is comfortable then most likely your grow kit will be too. No direct sun and no special lighting is required.

depending on where you live and the interior condition of you home, you will need to spray more often. Some people spray there kits several times a day if you are in a dry climate. Some customers that live in a humid or coastal climate my get away with less sprays. The goal is to not let it dry out.

Our grow kits are ready to start once you get them. You can however refrigerate them up to a week before starting. Remember these kits are alive and need to be started, they are on a mission to grow mushrooms.

Typically when your mushrooms are starting to spore a bit on the coutertop or when the cap start to flare out with the oyster mushrooms. Lion's mane will start to elongate its hairs or teeth and start to yellow a bit. The majority of your kit box will be fully covered with mushrooms.
